Do I need Wi-Fi or internet to play?+
No. Everything runs offline, straight from the device. Wi-Fi is only used if you choose to link two consoles together for wireless multiplayer.
What's the difference between the 20,000 and 40,000 versions?+
Both play the same 20+ systems. The 20,000 version covers the essential classics; the 40,000 version adds a much deeper catalogue and extra systems, and leaves more room to expand. If in doubt, most people pick 40,000 so they never run out.
Can I add my own games later?+
Yes. The console uses a standard microSD card, so you can expand the storage and add your own files at any time. It grows with you.
Exactly how does two-player work?+
Two ways. Plug a second controller into one console for classic couch co-op on the same screen, or link two consoles over the same network so each player has their own screen to race, battle and trade. The Player Two bundle ships both consoles ready to go.
Can I play on my TV?+
Yes — connect over HDMI and play your classics on the big screen, controller in hand, just like back in the day.
How long does the battery last?+
Up to 12 hours on a charge, depending on brightness and the games you play. It recharges with the included USB-C cable — the same one you already use for most modern devices.
